Cheers to a successful Titsey Brewing Co crowdfunding campaign

The Market Place was engaged by Titsey Brewing Co this autumn, as the Surrey brewery hoped to launch a crowdfunding campaign to secure a beer-flavoured future for their corner of the Surrey Hills.

Owner and brewer Craig Vroom was aiming to raise at least £25,000 for Titsey Brewing Co to help finance new equipment and reach more beer lovers in the area.

The microbrewery had been making a name for itself with their forward-thinking beers, which celebrate the history and heritage of the Titsey Estate, near Oxted, since it launched in 2017.

However, at the time of their crowdfunding campaign, they still had a largely hyperlocal following, with their beer a regular presence at a small number of country inns, including Botley Hill Farmhouse at Titsey Hill and The White Bear near Warlingham.

The Market Place ran every stage of the successful crowdfunding campaign, from scripting and storyboarding Titsey Brewing Co’s promotional video and recommending suitably alluring and creative rewards to setting up the Crowdfunder page and arranging for press coverage in local magazines and newspapers. We also ran Titsey Brewing Co’s social media accounts for the duration of the campaign.

“To move up to the next level, I needed people to join me on the adventure,” says Craig. “I couldn’t have asked for any more from The Market Place team who had my back at every step of the way during our Titsey Brewing Co crowdfunding campaign.”
