With Botley Hill Farmhouse among The Market Place’s long-standing clients (we've been part of their team since 2015), we were delighted to be involved with the launch of their The Barn at Botley Hill wedding venue in Surrey over the past year.

Acting as their marketing team across all fronts of the exciting project, The Market Place was tasked with project managing their brand new website; copywriting for digital, local and national press, as well as promotional brochures; running digital marketing and pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to establish the venue; and setting up and populating new social media channels to work independently of Botley Hill Farmhouse’s existing online presence that we had already established.

Turning dreams into reality

At this point, in summer 2018, The Barn at Botley Hill was still just a dream and only existed in ambitious architectural drawings that would soon transform a muddy field alongside Botley Hill Farmhouse - but the team new that the wedding diary needed to be booked up from the moment the builders and interior designers finished.

Working alongside the team at Botley Hill, we were able to leverage local and national press contacts to cover this alluring and ambitious project and ensure that it captured the imagination even before the spectacular building had taken shape.

The Barn at Botley Hill held its first weddings in the summer of 2019, with an official launch party taking place a little later, and they have never looked back with it quickly becoming one of the most in demand wedding barn venues in Surrey.

With its showstopping location at the top of the North Downs in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and its jaw dropping floor to ceiling windows that make the most of the beautiful view, The Barn at Botley Hill has proven to be a Surrey sensation and, as well as many magical weddings, it has also proven to be a popular photoshoot destination for glossy magazines.
